"Shalgam Suyu" is a traditional Turkish fermented drink made with purple carrots and rock salt, and has a unique sour and salty taste. It has a rare taste that is not found in Japan, and has no sweetness at all, and you can enjoy an addictive sour and salty flavor.

In Turkey, Shalgam Suyu is often drunk with meat dishes, fried foods, and other rich meals, and you can enjoy a refreshing aftertaste after a greasy meal. It is also commonly drunk as a sports drink in the summer, and is also enjoyed with the Turkish distilled alcohol "raki". Drinking it alternately with raki refreshes the mouth and further enhances the flavor of the raki.

Shalgam is made in the traditional way by adding purple carrots, salt water, and durum wheat and turnips to promote fermentation, and then slowly fermenting it. Doanay's shalgam is made with a special flavor that uses Turkish rock salt. Please try the authentic shalgam, which is hard to find in Japan.
