Doğanay’s Acılı (spicy) Şalgam Suyu is a traditional fermented beverage made from purple carrots, rock salt, durum wheat, and turnip, with added spice extract for a piquant kick. With no sweetness, it combines tangy and salty flavors with a warming spiciness.
Popular in Turkey alongside meat dishes, fried foods, dolma, chicken, or fish, it refreshes the palate. Also enjoyed in summer as a cooling drink or alternated with Turkish rakı to cleanse and enhance the flavor.
